We believe that the Gospel of Jesus changes our lives spiritually, but also relationally and physically. The Good News is not just about spiritual salvation, or just about social change. It includes both.
The Kingdom of God motivates us to serve the disadvantaged in our community, by providing key services, building authentic relationships, and giving a reason for the hope we have in Jesus.
The Old Testament frequently commands God's people to especially care for the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow. People in need are close to God's heart, and our church is engaged in ministering to people in a variety of ways. To find out more about any of these ministries, please contact us.
Food Distributions
We have the privilege of providing a location every Wednesday for the Redwood Empire Food Bank to distribute food to anyone in need. By joining with volunteers from around our community, the Food Bank is able to provide food to anyone who is facing food scarcity. Check out the Food Bank’s page describing our distribution site. For more information, please contact the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
Food Distributions are Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30. It is a drive-through distribution. If you need food, enter through the gravel parking lot to the north of the church building.
FOSTER care
Working with and supporting kids and teens in foster care is a key passion for our church. We regularly participate in volunteer opportunities with local foster care organizations.
FOSTER THE CITY As a partner church with Foster the City we are committed to supporting foster families in our church community.
